An amazing game but...
Played mainly on Xbox and I've over 400+ hours (not as much as some people but still resonable). Recently got a pretty good PC and ive always wanted to use mods so I decided to buy it for PC. I've had a love hate realationship with this game because of some monsters mechanics and playing the game solo it especially difficult at endgame. But the character customisation, armour and the story make this game one of my favourites of all time (to an extent).
The Pros
- Amazing story
- Customisation
- Armour looks incredible
The Cons
- Playing solo
- Certain mechanics

The Pros
- The Palicos I love it all
The Cons
- It's kinda hard for solo play

MHW With Extra Spice
Monster hunter world already was a pretty good game seeing as how it brought monster hunter to the mainstream and allowing you to play with friends more easily due to being on the PC, the dlc addes so much more to the experience:
More zones, more monsters and new variations of existing ones (like the coral pukey pukey) adds a lot more endgame and they even still add new monsters for high level players now and then.
Overall, If you liked mhw you're definitely going to love this and if you've yet to try the original game then this one isn't too pricey by now so you might as well try it.
Works best with friends ;)The Pros
- More intresting and unique monsters The grapple hook completely changes how you approach hunts
The Cons
- The game is still very grindy as all other mh games

Awesome
I have seen many controversial reviews of the game, well for me the game is simply awesome, some ppl dont like the fact that takes to long to slay the monsters, i mean... depends how week you are, the stronger you get the faster it is, if you like adventure and you are patient and like to fight big monster well this is your game, its not just about slay monsters but exploration as well, so you got like both or you may feel lost in the game.
The Pros
- all of it
The Cons
- none

FAQs
How difficult is Iceborne? ›
Iceborne is difficult: it's balanced for the endgame crowd
The damage I was doing wasn't enough, which is why it dragged on for so long. Iceborne marks the beginning of a new power curve, a steeper one that's going to be extra exhausting for the more casual crowd, but—hopefully—all the more satisfying in the end.
Hit Hunter Rank 16
If you want to start Iceborne on day one, you need to reach Hunter Rank 16 first. All you need to do to reach HR 16 is complete the main story. Once you've seen the credits roll, you're ready for Iceborne.
HR's only purpose is to unlock the HR100 quest, once you hit 100 it's just numbers and nothing else. It will increase as you do MR quests anyways.
How do you make Iceborne easier? ›- Don't ignore your food quests. ...
- Be sure to visit the Steamworks. ...
- Meld rare items. ...
- Build your armour sets correctly. ...
- Be sure to use the Clutch Claw. ...
- Use tactical traps. ...
- Know your enemy.
If you have 50 hours and your still playing, I would get iceborne :) it opens up some new moves that you can use in world, as well as the clutch claw, it's pretty much an entire game worth of content :D. The thing about any Monster Hunter title is that you always get your moneys worth.
How long is Monster Hunter world Iceborne? ›When focusing on the main objectives, Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne is about 36½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 297 Hours to obtain 100% completion.
