  An easy A if you complete the homework on time and keep turning in papers on time. Testing is somewhat difficult, so I highly recommend studying for them. Other than that, expect a high grade and not that much work. Easy way to get the GEN ED credit. Good luck!

  I took this class online and it was super easy. You do two papers, two pages each and two exams, a midterm and a final both were 75 questions. He did a good job of sending out emails letting you know when papers were due and when you needed to take your exams.

  This man is emotionless. He does not care about students or their mental health. Can be insensitive, dont expect extensions or flexibility without arguing. 100 level professor being way too strict for the class difficulty.

  Not bad as a professor. His class was online and we overall only interacted with him 3 times overall in the semester which was the beginning of the semester, a midterm review, and a final review (optional though) 2 paper that are 2 pages long, 1.5 spaced, times New Roman, and 10 pt and all the work is pretty much listed when you buy the textbook.

  Attendance is pretty mandatory but you can kinda find a way around it if you really want to. MUS100 was pretty boring but you can do whatever you want on your computer during class so that's chill. I did all the hw for the class during class and the book is definitely needed since all the answers are in it. Pretty easy gen ed tho, mostly vocab

  Prof Lewis was okay in teaching. I honestly never listened and ended up with a 98%. this course is pretty easy, one midterm, one final, at least 2 weekly homeworks, two papers(he was a lil strict on the requirement but it's doable). The only thing that was difficult was the listening exam, so pay attention to that. Do the work and you'll pass.

  Probably the best music professor for MUS100. Two papers in the class which are OKAY. Midterm and final are take home. Listening exams are the hardest part. Take note of the ones he keeps playing in the class, those are the ones to most likely show up on the listening exam. BB grade is not real. Make sure to calculate weighted grade AND DO THE HW!

  Professor Lewis is a great professor. His class is not difficult at all. There is weekly homework, two papers, listening exams and an online exam. All of which you can get an A on. If you need help in the class, Lewis only helps students who attends his lectures frequently, so if you think you may need some assistance, go to his lectures.

  He's a great professor and very passionate about music. My only complaint is that he doesn't prepare slides and literally just reads from the online book that everyone has. Easy, 2 papers, online exams, in class listening exam, you should study for that a bit. and weekly homework but it's very easy.

  Mr. Lewis was a very good music professor. You can tell he was very passionate about his teaching and made class fun and interesting. Most of the time we would just listen to songs in class. The only homework was online and basically gave you the correct answer. I loved this class! If you need a gen ed I recommend taking this class with Mr. Lewis.

  Best blow off class ever. Homework and exams are online. You don't need to listen during lectures. in fact, no one does. one guy played fortnite in the back. Only take the listening section seriously, but he essentially plays like 5 songs before listening exam day, and he'll pick 3 of the 5.   Easiest class I have ever taken. He is the only mus 100 professor that uses online for hw and tests. For other professors, it is an actual class where you must sit down and listen. For Lewis, you can finish the hw really quickly and the exam questions can be found online. Extremely easy grader too. He also plays specific songs before the exams.

  I don't understand any bad reviews about him. He is not that boring. He will be boring only if you don't like the subject. This is an easy course but I suggest putting in effort. Don't take him for granted. He makes listening exams fairly easy but you have to study at least a little. Good luck! it is an easy A.

  His lectures are boring and you can sit in the back and not pay attention because he does not care. You don't need to pay attention but you need to show up for attendance points. There are 2 papers which he grades very easy. Listening exams are alright but study a bit. Blackboard grade is not real grade. Make sure to calculate you weighed grade.
